How to make a warm winter for your laser equipment?

Winter has arrived, the temperature plummeted, your equipment has been well protected against cold and frost? 

When the working environment has reached zero degrees and there is no heating system, please do not turn off the power supply of the chiller and laser to ensure that it circulates and works. At the same time, antifreeze needs to be added in time.

Antifreeze can not be used directly after purchase, it needs to be proportionally blended into deionized water as follows:
Need to take the local history of the lowest temperature as a standard, combined with the actual situation of the proportion after use;
-36℃~-45℃ 6:4(60% antifreeze:40% deionized water)
-24℃~-35℃ 5:5(50% antifreeze:50% deionized water)
-16℃~-23℃ 4:6(40% antifreeze:60% deionized water)
-6℃~-15℃ 3:7(30% antifreeze:70% deionized water)
-1℃~ -5℃ 2:8(20% antifreeze:80% deionized water)

▶It is recommended to add no less than 30% concentration for actual use.

 

Use Case
Chiller tank volume 31 liters, need to withstand the use of -15 ℃ environment
The density of the specified antifreeze is 1.13g/cm3.   
Volume: 31L*0.3=9.3L
Required weight = 1.13 * 9.3 * 1000 = 10.5kg      
Derived from the lowest temperature -6 ℃ ~ -15 ℃
Laser cutting machine - water chiller tank volume of 31 liters: need to buy antifreeze 10.5kg

 

Special Note

Any antifreeze can not completely replace deionized water, can not be used for a long time throughout the year. After winter, you must use deionized water or pure water to clean the pipeline and resume using deionized water as the coolant of the chiller.
In view of the market laser equipment using antifreeze selling quality varies, it is recommended to contact the regular manufacturers, the purchase of designated antifreeze.
If the equipment has not been put into use for a long time, at this time you should check the water chiller, laser, and each water pipe is discharged cleanly, so as to avoid freezing and cracking, resulting in unnecessary losses.
